Master Bedroom Re-Do
And we're done. For now. We've moved into this house full-time (for now) and moved into the master bedroom, plus have baby #2 on the way. He'll be going in the closet-nursery for the time being - I'll post pictures of that later.
Here's the before, right about the day we moved in. Note the carpet and bare, white-contractor-paint walls:
And the after, a mere 3.5 years later:
The wall unit is actually two pieces from Ikea, with the Hemnes connector over the TV. Susie did the tile around the electric fireplace, of course. Here's the added storage from those cabinets:

Mother's Day Project
Most moms go to brunch, get some flowers, maybe relax. My mom builds things. I roped her into this one against her will but she rocked it. Still need to stain / varnish them all but you get the idea. Total cost ~$170 after all the trips to Ace (THANK YOU MICHAEL. See, you get credit. In public. So there.)
Four tables in one weekend. Phew! I'm thinking they're too nice for the basement of a vacation home.

End tables:

Console - obviously in process of being stained!

Inspired by the Hyde line at Pottery Barn. Plans from Knock-off Wood.
